Water Resistance Reminder
All Watchbrick timepieces are rated at 3ATM, suitable for light daily use only — such as hand-washing or light rain.
Do not wear the watch while showering, swimming, or submerging in water. This is especially important for models with the VK63 quartz chronograph, as they contain a battery-powered module that may be affected by moisture.
Before You Start: Wind Your Automatic Watch
All automatic movements (including NH34, NH35, NH36) require manual winding before first use, or after sitting idle for an extended period.
To wind your watch:
- Make sure the crown is in the pushed-in position (Position 0).
- Turn the crown clockwise (away from you) 20-25 times to build up power in the mainspring.
- You should see the second hand begin to sweep smoothly.
Crown Positions (NH34/NH35/NH36)
- Position 0 – Pushed in: Manual winding (turn crown clockwise)
-
Position 1 – 1 click:
- NH34: Set GMT hand
-
NH35/NH36: Set date (and day on NH36)
- Position 2 – 2 clicks: Set time (second hand stops)
Crown Positions (NH72)
-
Position 0 – Pushed in: Manual winding (turn crown clockwise)
-
Position 1 – 1 click: Not applicable (NH72 has no date or GMT function)
-
Position 2 – 2 clicks: Set time (second hand stops)
Regular daily wear will keep the watch powered — no need to wind it daily.
Do not:
- Pull out the crown while winding
- Turn the crown counterclockwise — this does not wind the movement and may cause unnecessary wear

NH72 Movement – Usage & Functions
-
Manual Winding:
Turn the crown clockwise (away from you) about 15–20 times to fully wind the watch.

Automatic Winding:
The watch will wind itself through the natural motion of your wrist. Wearing it regularly keeps it running. -
Time Setting:
Pull the crown out to the second position to set the time.
The NH72 supports hacking (the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out), allowing precise time setting. -
No Date Function:
This movement has no date window or quickset date function — only hour, minute, and second hands.
🧭 Final Tips for All Movements
-
Always pull/push the crown gently—avoid applying side force.
-
If your watch is stopped, wind it fully before wearing to ensure smooth operation.
-
For automatic watches (NH34/35/36/72), regular wear keeps the movement powered.
-
Keep watches away from magnets and large temperature swings to preserve accuracy.
